We’re partnering with artist Sara Alsum-Wassenaar on a project to restore local waterways.

Culture Works has partnered with local Artist/Designer Sara Alsum-Wassenaar to support an ecology and art project she has been weaving together in the Holland area for several years.  The project, Macatawa Manoomin Marsh, is aimed at inspiring watershed care while seeking to repair a legacy of thin vision. This wave of the project is funded by a grant from the Macatawa Area Coordinating Council and supported by the ODC. Previous funders include the Michigan STEM Network and GVSU.  Look in future Culture Works newsletters for opportunities to participate in embodied learning surrounding this project.
