Treehuis, 2nd Floor Conference Room
In an era of Instagram and Snapchat, we use cameras every day. Photos can tell stories, capture memories, document events, and reveal our own unique perspective on the world. In this class, you’ll learn about how light, composition, framing, focus, and color can affect the mood and meaning of a photo. We’ll also learn how to manually adjust camera settings to take clear, compelling photos in different situations, and learn how to edit and enhance them with Adobe software. Bring your own camera if you have one, or use one of ours! Students will get to take home CultureWorks cameras during the week to keep practicing between classes.
*Class does not meet on October 10, November 7, or November 28
