“Placemaking” is the intentional design and management of a shared space that promotes the well-being of the people who use it. For the second summer in a row, Cultureworks is excited to partner with 3Sixty, a neighbor-led nonprofit in Holland that focuses on the ongoing well-being of the Eastcore neighborhood. In this class, we’ll use data collected from the neighborhood in order to create public works of art to be displayed in the neighborhood. By contributing to creative placemaking in this way, you’ll leave your mark on our community and create space for others to do the same.
