Thirteen Students joined us for our first field trip to the Detroit Institute for the Arts and the College for Creative Studies.
We were grateful for a beautiful day to visit the College for Creative Studies and the Detroit Institute of Arts this weekend! Some of our favorite things were: being face to face with Van Gogh, the incredible Diego rivera murals, the unique and compelling Offrendas exhibit, and learning about all the classes and majors offered at CCS, and the variety of creative internships and careers available. We’re grateful for a comfortable and uneventful early-morning van ride, curtesy of EKKO Studio, and for our gracious hosts in Detroit! The staff and educators at CCS were incredibly welcoming and informative, and during our long van ride we had a good conversation about the benefits of different types of higher education.
